I find that flowers on my window sill remind me of the beauty and joy of nature and the cycle of change all creatures either endure or surrender to. Flowers bloom where they are planted and continue to bloom when they are plucked and tucked into a vase on a table. They continue to shine and brighten and fragrance the world around them regardless of their container.
I think flowers are very wise.
I was comfortably in my last office space for 8 years. I felt very at home there. So it was no easy experience to find I had to leave it temporarily, and then later to close that office for an unknown time. But someone plucked and tucked me into the garden setting in Keller. And what a wonderful time that has been! The morning songs of birds as company for sessions has been such a delight to me and a comfort for many who’ve come to see me there.
And now my vase has moved again!
Next time you schedule an appointment with me, at least if that’s in the foreseeable future -foreseeable has a kind of different feel than it used to when you say it out loud, doesn’t it? – you’ll be invited to another new location.
This one is still among the trees with nature and sunshine, but with a coziness and charm that only a sweet little cottage on a hill could provide.
Here it is:
It is simple and quaint, and there’s a spectacular oak tree out front, just to the right, and a large oak and pine off the little deck in the back. Inside it’s airy and light and just right for indoor sessions in the cooler weather, while still providing appropriate ventilation via open windows on all sides to move air while we stay warm and cozy.
If the weather’s right and you’d like an outdoor session, that’s no problem I can simply move the treatment table to the deck!
I’m very happy to be able to share this location with you. For those of you who’ve been to the garden setting, this one is about 1/4 mile from that location on the same property; next little hill over to the north.
I hope you are well and happy and enjoying this glorious Fall by getting outdoors, grounded, and filled by the beauty of nature.
Blessings!
